Gretchen Carlson has filed a sexual harassment suit against Fox News CEO Roger Ailes

After losing her job at Fox News, Gretchen Carlson is filing sexual harassment charges against Fox News CEO Roger Ailes.

Here is the full screenshot Kludt tweeted this morning:

According to Carlson's representatives, she was let go because "she rebuffed Mr. Ailes' sexual advances and also tried to challenge what she felt was unequal treatment of her in the newsroom by some of her male colleagues." This information was shared on Twitter this morning by CNN reporter Tom Kludt.

According to the statement, when Carlson tried to discuss the other forms of sexual harassment in her workplace nine months ago with Ailes, he told her, "I think you and I should have had a sexual relationship a long time ago, and then you'd be good and better and I'd be good and better. Sometimes problems are easier to solve [that way]."

Carlson has not yet made any public statements for herself, but tweeted this Wednesday morning:

Let's hope she gets the justice she deserves.
