Tilda Swinton Doesn't Like Harry Potter
The Doctor Strange actress recently revealed that she dislikes the Harry Potter films because they glorify boarding schools. What do you think?
Tilda Swinton has played many magical roles in her career, most recently in Doctor Strange, but recently, she voiced her opinions on the Harry Potter series, and much to everyone's surprise, they were not the glowing praise the films get from so many.

Swinton sees the Harry Potter films as a glorification of the boarding school experience. Having attended a boarding school herself at a young age, Swinton has always viewed them as "a very lonely and isolated environment" and said in an interview in Scots Magazine:

That’s why I dislike films like Harry Potter which tend to romanticize such places. I think they are a very cruel setting in which to grow up and I don’t feel children benefit from that type of education. Children need their parents and the love parents can provide.
Swinton now has two children of her own, son Xavier and daughter Honor, both of whom were able to work on Doctor Strange alongside their mother, in art and costumes respectively. But what we want to know is...
