You can get angry at friends if you feel as if they are doing something bad and somehow it has or it will affect your life. You're Doc!
You wish for peace for others as well as yourself. You don't want people to get caught up in it. You also don't wish for people to get caught up in a situation that others won't understand. As Doc said in the movie: Why do you kids live like there's a war on?
