Fox originally was going to give the parts of Al and Peggy to Sam Kinison and Roseanne

But the roles went to Katey Sagal and Ed O'Neill

Katey Sagal came up with all of her outfits for the show and the 60's theme for herself. Peggy wore big red hair, capri leggings and large slip on heels.

Al Bundy says happy birthday!

Ed O'Neill made a promise to fans that if he got requests from fans who wanted him to call and wish them a Happy Birthday he would call and be a smart ass just like Al thats so sweet

Cancellation

The show had run its time on air but Ed O'Neill suggested one last episode where the Bundy's won the lottery and a tornado destroyed their house needless to say the end was the end.
