Which MUTED witch family do you belong to?

A family of cunning and clever Witches, the Severin are full of pride and constantly push themselves and their daughters to excel and stand out in the eyes of the Coven. Mediocrity is not in their vocabulary, and they go big or they go home often with little warning. The demons they Summon are bird like in nature, and their Familiars tend to be crows, magpies, or starlings who spy on others and feed them information needed to get ahead. They hold themselves with grace and poise, and do not stand to be looked down upon. This family is powerful, influential and strive to be the best that they can.

The Eloi are a mysterious family that typically stay within the city and close to each other. They deal with magics of Shadow and Spirits, their familiars take on the form of various snakes. They are very sensitive to the border between this world and the next. Because of this sensitivity they are very vulnerable to possession so they always travel at least in pairs for their own safety. They are often misunderstood because of their reclusiveness - and though they are bold and confident in their hobbies and talents they are often awkward in social situations with people they don’t know.

The LeRoux live in a magically created orchard deep in the swamp. The familiars they are summon are diverse in variety, from towering cypress monsters to helpful mushroom sprites to unpredictable orchid faes to woodland creatures like squirrels. They prefer to remain with their own, but allies they are peaceful, kind, and live primarily off the land. They are confident with themselves and are largely very accepting. Because they appear to be free-spirited pacifists by nature it is hard to gauge the true measure of their strength.

The LaCour family is the oldest of the entire coven. Founded by escaped slaves, they are a primarily black family who have adapted the magic of their ancestors to a slightly more modern climate. They are the “Court” to all the witch families and embody the ideals of close family loyalty and impartial judgement. Due to the fact that they live deep in the bayou with their familiars (of alligators, toads and lizards) they stay out of most Coven drama, but are called upon to be the final Judges in matters of inter-family conflicts as they are the source of all the families magic and have the ability to give and take as they please. They are highly respected, protective of one another, and overall very friendly- right up until you cross them.

From bobcats to house cats to foxes, the Familiars of these Witches roam far and wide through city and swamp with their masters. They’re a little more nomadic than the other Families, often picking up and leaving for a new, more exciting location whenever the whim strikes, and resent being tied down against their will. Whatever the individuals do during the day, they always come together for dinner and exchange events of their lives or share magic artifacts they’ve found. A little more wild than the other families, they’re often called hedonists, and do nothing at all to protest the accusation. At the end of the day though, this Family is loyal to their allies and gentle with children.

The Moreau wear their hearts on their sleeves, as quick to laugh as they are to rage. This family is, above all, comprised of very stubborn individuals. They can heal the deepest wounds or alter the very landscapes with their affinity for mud magics, and tend to think of themselves as the physically most resilient family. This family never turns away an injured person in need, and despite their tough exterior devote a large part of their time to charity work, volunteering and relief efforts. The healing salve that they create from their mud magic is highly coveted in all witch families.

The Moran are notorious for being guarded, reserved individuals. Strong hearted sailors, they prefer to be near or on the river where the water carries their bull shark Familiars in and out from the ocean and to many different states beyond. The Moran are rarely seen alone, tending to move around town in small packs simply because it makes them feel more comfortable to be around family even if they tend not to actually talk much. Their water based magic is a terrifying reminder of what they’re truly capable of. They always have news of what the covens are up to - and they delight in learning new information, whether or not they intend to actually use it for anything
