Hera

Hera is the goddess of marriage, home and protector of all married women. She is very passionate about family and monogamy. She showed a lot of compassion and motherly instinct. However, when Hera is betrayed or disrespected she could be very vindictive. She was viewed as jealous and vicious toward her wrongdoers. She was feared and respected. Zeus was a very unfaith husband to Hera. He went against the sanctity of marriage and home that Hera held dear. Hera would unleash her anger on the “other women” in Zeus’s life and also on the children that were born from these unions.

Demeter was the goddess of earth, agriculture and fertility. Known as the corn goddess, she symbolizes regenerative earth power over all living things. A sheaf of ripe wheat was her primary symbol. She presided over the harvest and all the agricultural labors. She was often sculpted as a matronly figure, seated. Demeter is the mother archetype representing maternal instinct finding fulfillment through pregnancy and motherhood - or a parallel avenue providing nourishment (psychologically, spiritually), or caretaking. A predominantly Demeter type woman whose mothering urges are thwarted may be disposed to depression.

Hestia was one of the three virgin goddesses, next to Athena and Artemis. Hestia personified the fire hat was burning in the hearth of every home. All families poured sweet wine in her name and dedicated her the richest portion. The hearth fire was not allowed to go out by any family unless it was ritually extinguished. Hestia may not have had a public cult, but she was always WORSHIPPED in any temple, regardless of the god the temple was dedicated to.
Hestia was a kind, forgiving goddess and had a discrete character. She never left her residence, the sacred mountain of Olympus and never participated in any disputes or wars. For this reason, all Olympian gods respected and loved her

Athena is the daughter of Zeus. She sprang full grown in armour from his forehead. She is fierce and brave in battle but, only wars to defined the state and home from outside enemies. She is the goddess of the city, handicrafts, and agriculture. She invented the bridle, which permitted man to tame horses, the trumpet, the flute, the pot, the rake, the plow, the yoke, the ship, and the chariot. She is the embodiment of wisdom, reason, and purity. She was Zeus's favorite child and was allowed to use his weapons including his thunderbolt. Her favorite city is Athens. Her tree is the olive. The owl is her bird. She is a virgin goddess.

Artemis is the daughter of Zeus and Leto. Her twin brother is Apollo.
Artemis is usually depicted as a very tall, beautiful woman. Usually she is wearing a knee length chiton, or dress. Sometimes she is shown holding a bow and arrow, other times she holds a lyre. Artemis, goddess of hunting, with bow.
In Greek mythology, Artemis is said to have a complex personality. In some stories, she is peaceful, helpful and kind. However, in other stories she's angry and destructive. Also, she is shown with hunting dogs, said to stay with Artemis while she hunts.

Aphrodite is the goddess of love, desire and beauty. In addition to her natural gifts she has a magical girdle that compels anyone she wishes to desire her. There are two accounts of her birth.
One says she is the daughter of Zeus and Dione.
The other goes back to when Cronus castrated Uranus and tossed his severed genitles into the sea. Aphrodite then arose from the sea foam on a giant scallop and walked to shore in Cyprus.
She is the wife of Hephaestus. The myrtle is her tree. The dove, the swann, and the sparrow her birds.

Persephone is the Greek goddess of springtime, flowers, fertility, and young life. Persephone is the daughter of Zeus and Demeter and the wife of Hades, making her the Queen of the Underworld.
Unlike Zeus' other children, Persephone has no position at Olympus. Persephone used to live far away from the other deities, a goddess within Nature herself before the days of planting seeds and nurturing plants. When Persephone reached marriageable age, several gods tried to woo her, but Demeter rejected all their gifts and hid her daughter away from the company of the Olympian deities (Demeter said that Persephone could have married the god of doctors). Thus, Persephone lived a peaceful life before she became the goddess of the Underworld, which did not occur until Hades brought her to the Underworld through his infamous kidnapping of her.

Hecate is the daughter of the Titans Perses and Asteria. She is the Greek goddess of magic, sorcery, witchcraft, crossroads, trivial knowledge, and necromancy. According to The House of Hades, she is also the goddess of the Mist. She also represents the dark side of the moon, or the Harvest Moon, and is associated with many things including childbirth, nurturing the young, gates, walls, doorways, and sometimes even change. She can stay on Olympus, in the deep sea, in the Underworld, and also on Earth.
