The Abandoned Child Accused Of Being A Witch Has Made A Stunning Recovery!

You may remember this picture from a few weeks ago, of a Danish aid worker giving an abandoned child some water.

The two year old had been abandoned by his family because they suspected him of being a witch. He had been wandering the streets for eight months, alone.

He was suffering from severe malnutrition, he had obviously struggled to survive. Danish aid worker Anja Ringgren Loven took him in and named him Hope.

And as you can see, Hope has made quite a recovery! He looks like a completely different little guy!

Hope likes to hang out.

Since Anja took him in, Hope has received the medical attention he so badly needed. He's even started some school!

Hope now has 35 new brothers and sisters - he loves them all, and they love him!
