Disciple of Hawk
Disciple of Hawk
You are the most old school of the old school. Fighting against the growing swell of analytical baseball, you cling to wins, saves and game winning RBI while avoiding all rate stats beyond average. In the end, all that matters is that ring and the way to get it is with winners, not losers with a low FIP.
Traditionalist
Traditionalist
An older spirit, resistant to change, but not as close minded as the crowd that doesn't believe in stats at all. You stick to old school numbers like ERA, AVG, K's & homers, but care much more about what you actually see on the field than the numbers a player accumulates over time.

Right in the mainstream, you appreciate the game for what it is and don't look too far into things. There's nothing wrong with just enjoying a day at the ballpark without knowing every tiny detail about every single player. Even so, you still probably can at least understand a little of what the stat heads are talking about, even if you don't care.
Money Balling
Money Balling
Most likely an old school fan who has began to adjust to the modern game with a few new age stats and a slightly different way of thinking. You still appreciate a pitcher win or RBI, but can tell the difference between luck and talent.

You follow the gospel according to Bill James, probably have fangraphs and brooks baseball bookmarked and don't think they provide enough analysis so you start making up your own stats. Who cares about tradition? You know your way is right and everyone before you was wrong.
