CCS International Internship
CCS International Internship
CCS international internships are designed for students ages 18 and older seeking a real-world, globally-minded intern abroad experience in their chosen field.
Internships are currently available in all locations except for Thailand. Note: not all internship areas are available in each location.
Duration requirements vary based on the internship program and location, though most internships have a minimum of 3 or 4 weeks.
Some, but not all, internships have language requirements. Interns in Peru and Guatemala must have an intermediate knowledge of Spanish. Interns in Morocco must have conversational language ability in either French or Moroccan Arabic.
An internship is based on experiential learning; the intern works with a mentor in the local community to achieve specific internship goals. The internship is customized to meet the educational needs and interests of the student. Students may receive college credit for their internship, depending on the policies and procedures for their institution.
All programs include accommodation at the Home-Base, food, and travel to and from scheduled activities. University partners who require alternate accommodations for their approved programs will work directly with their personal representative at CCS to arrange homestay housing.

CCS Volunteer Abroad
CCS Volunteer Abroad
The CCS Volunteer Abroad program is for anyone 18+ who is interested in volunteering with one of our local partner organizations for 1-12 weeks. This program is available at all locations (note: some programs have a 2 week minimum).
We'll work with you to learn about your skills and interests and individually match you with a CCS Global Project where you can engage in meaningful service work. Your experience is balanced between volunteer work, cultural activities, and free time to explore or relax.
All CCS programs include accommodation at the Home-Base, food, and travel to and from scheduled activities.

CCS Gap Year
CCS Gap Year
A Gap Year is designed for recent graduates, current university students, and professionals who want to take a break for an experiential summer, semester, or year to increase self-awareness, expand their comfort zones, and discover career possibilities.
We have three Gap Year programs: Discover Africa, Spanish Immersion, and Global Gap. For each program, you will spend 4 weeks in each of 3 different locations (12 weeks total). We also have an option for you to customize your gap year experience.
Gap Year participants live and volunteer alongside the regular Volunteer Abroad participants.
We'll work with you to learn about your skills and interests and individually match you with a CCS Global Project where you can engage in meaningful service work. Your experience is balanced between volunteer work, cultural activities, and free time to explore or relax.
