Harley Quinn
Harley Quinn
You're sexy and you're crazy. Try not to cause too much trouble Puddin'!
"Harley Quinn is easily the most popular Batman villain not to have debuted in a comic book. She was introduced in 1992 as a recurring villain in Batman: The Animated Series. Harley was initially portrayed as a sidekick to Joker, decked out in a harlequin outfit to match his clown motif.
Harley's tragic back-story was established in the graphic novel Batman: mad Love (later adapted into the final episode of BTAS). That story revealed that Harley was a psychiatrist named Dr. Harleen Quinzel. Her encounters with Joker in Arkham Asylum caused her to fall madly in love with the villain and eventually abandon her career in order to join in his crime sprees.
Harley is a more fleshed-out and sympathetic counterpart to Joker. Despite being obsessed with her "puddin'," she often acknowledges the unhealthy nature of their relationship and has made attempts to strike out on her own. While not averse to killing, Harley usually reserves her acts of violence for those she feels deserve it rather than innocent bystanders.
Harley's ties with the Suicide Squad began fairly recently with DC's New 52 relaunch. She's been a regular member of the team since then and has formed a romantic bond with Deadshot."
The Joker
The Joker
You're a nut job. Why aren't you in Arkham right now!?
"The Joker is arguably DC's most iconic villain, and certainly the most famous Batman villain. Suicide Squad will mark the first appearance of this latest live-action incarnation of the Joker. Given the older age of Batman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice, it's likely that Batman and Joker already have a long history together by the time this film opens.
What Joker's exact role within the film will be is a mystery, however. The Suicide Squad is comprised of incarcerated villains who agree to carry out dangerous missions in exchange for a reduced sentence. Given joker's chaotic, unpredictable nature and unwillingness to cooperate with anyone, it seems hard to believe that the villain would agree to any such arrangement with Amanda Waller."
Enchantress
Enchantress
You're a powerful and mysterious individual. You have an air of coolness around you and you know it.
"Enchantress is a sorceress and easily the most powerful member of the Suicide Squad roster in this film. However, her inability to control her magical powers also makes her a liability.
June Moone was a humble artist became the Enchantress after stumbling across a secret chamber in a remote castle. June can transform into her magical alter ego merely by speaking the phrase "The Enchantress."
While powerful, the Enchantress side of June's personality is more sinister and increasingly difficult for the poorly trained woman to control."
El Diablo
El Diablo
You're hot stuff. Literally. Someone turn on the AC!
"Chato Santana. The current El Diablo is Chato Santana, an ex-criminal who after being hospitalized, meets a still living comatose Lazarus Lane. It is written by Jai Nitz, pencilled by Phil Hester, with inks by Ande Parks. In The New 52 and DC Extended Universe, he is a member of the Suicide Squad."
Deadshot
Deadshot
You're a BAMF with a gun and you have a loving side reserved for your family. Hopefully no one annoys them or they will surely regret it!
"Floyd Lawton debuted as a Batman villain in 1950 before eventually becoming one of the mainstays of the Suicide Squad and Secret Six franchises. Deadshot is an expert marksman with almost superhuman hand-eye coordination. His signature weapon is a wrist-mounted automatic weapon. Short of Deathstroke, Deadshot is widely regarded in the DC Universe as the world's most skilled and effective assassin-for-hire.
Despite his willingness to kill for money, Lawton is often portrayed as a more sympathetic villain. He has a latent death wish stemming from childhood tragedy. Most of his ill-gotten gains are used to support his estranged daughter."
Captain Boomerang
Captain Boomerang
You know how to use a boomerang well, just watch out for it when it comes back to you!
"Secretly the illegitimate son of an American soldier and an Australian woman, Harkness was raised in an Australian town called Korumburra in poverty, during which time he developed great skill in making boomerangs, and in using them as weapons. As a young adult, he was hired as a performer and boomerang promoter by a toy company which was, unbeknownst to him, owned by his biological father. It was at this time that he developed the Captain Boomerang persona that he would continue to use in his later criminal career. Audiences ridiculed him, and a resentful Harkness turned to using his boomerangs for crime. As he began committing crimes he threw suspicion off of himself by briefly pretending another man was impersonating him, showing his 'parents', (really other crooks) to the Flash after the Flash caught him next to a crime scene. He nearly succeeded in killing the Flash after knocking him out with a boomerang, then tying him to a giant boomerang that he fired, which then got sent into space and then fell into the ocean. However, the Flash was able to escape from his friction-proof bonds by quickly vibrating his molecules. He also increased the boomerang's velocity so much he was able to use it to defeat and jail Harkness and the two crooks."
Killer Croc
Killer Croc
You're big and you're bad! No one is gonna mess with you!
"Depicted as having a rare genetic condition that gives him a crocodilian appearance, sideshow wrestler Waylon Jones develops into a dangerous and animalistic criminal. The extent of his resemblance to a crocodile varies between merely a large man with hardened skin, and essentially an anthropomorphic crocodile. The character is often portrayed as having cannibalistic tendencies."
Katana
Katana
You know how to use a sword and you know how to use it GOOD! Let's hope people don't try and make an enemy of you if they don't want to meet Soultaker.
"Tatsu Yamashiro was an average Japanese girl, save for her proficiency in the martial arts, a trait encouraged by her parents. Two brothers—Maseo and Takeo Yamashiro—both proclaimed their love for her. While she liked both, she chose Maseo as her husband. Takeo "did not take this well" and refused to attend the couple's wedding. Maseo disowned his brother, who had joined the Yakuza and taken their mark of a large dragon tattoo across his chest. Tatsu and Maseo, mourning the deaths of Tatsu's parents, started a family of their own. Tatsu gave birth to twins, Yuki and Reiko. Meanwhile, Takeo rose through the Yakuza's ranks and indulged his "exotic tastes" for ancient weapons. He was presented with a pair of matching swords by General Karnz (later henchman to Baron Bedlam), one of which Takeo favored for its mystical properties.
Takeo spent days preparing himself, before taking both swords to the Yamashiro residence, demanding his brother duel for the "prize" of Tatsu. During the course of the struggle, a fire was started, and—while Maseo was distracted by his children—Takeo killed his brother with the sword which would become known as "Soultaker". Tatsu arose just in time to see her husband die and engaged Takeo, gaining the upper hand and disarming him. Attempting to save her children, she heard her husband's voice coming from the sword, telling her they were already lost. Escaping with her life, Tatsu began training as a samurai under a master called Tadashi. After much time she graduated from his tutorship and left for America where she intended to use her talents to fight for justice. She took the codename Katana after the sword that she wielded, possessed for some time by the soul of her husband"
