Samsung's first MicroLED TV model
The CES of Las Vegas has resumed the race of Samsung to lead the technology of the future for the televisions of house. While the rest of manufacturers have taken the step to OLED for its higher range, Samsung continues to deny this technology for its large market of televisions, despite being a leader in such technology in screens for smartphones.
Your MicroLED continues to advance and in Las Vegas have confirmed (and shown) the first model with consumption diagonal: 75 inches . This screen, which offers 4K resolution, will be the spearhead of the Samsung alternative to OLED.
The MicroLED panels are made up of LED diodes very similar to those used in LED TVs, but with a much smaller size and which are capable of being illuminated individually to achieve pure blacks similar to those of OLED technology. But they are not organic elements as in the OLED panels, so the long-term life is greater and they would also avoid screen burns according to Samsung.
