22 goals in a kicking masterclass
Knights half-back Connor Robinson continued to show why he is one of the best kickers around, after converting 15 out of 18 goals in another impressive performance from him.
James Ford brought Robinson off to rest him for next week’s game at Hunslet, so Ash Robson took over kicking duties with aplomb, as he converted all seven attempts, rounding off an exceptional kicking display for the Knights.
Head coach James Ford labelled his team 'ruthless', but questioned whether the scoreline was a good advert for the standards of third division rugby league.
The League Table
The Knights have jumped above Doncaster and Bradford Bulls into top spot, after the Bulls beat Doncaster 32-6. 144 points for the Knights has put them 71 points ahead of their near rivals on points difference. West Wales Raiders meanwhile, are bottom having lost all 5 of their games, in which time they have managed to concede a mammoth 432 points!
