Ever stepped on a lego and screamed in pain? Lego has created slippers to solve the problem just in time for the holidays! But there's a catch...

The slippers are a collaboration with a French advertising agency, and will only be available via LEGO's France division.

They have extra padding in order to absorb the sharp plastic pieces.

How could LEGO deprive the rest of the world of these slipper's glory? Only 1,500 are being produced and they are going to be randomly distributed to users who make a Christmas wishlist on the French LEGO site.

Wonderful news for France, terrible news for everyone else.
