A giant squid was spotted in Japan’s Toyama Bay swimming surprisingly close to the waters surface and giving onlookers a show. We've got the original clip of this four meter monster below:

The creature swam around the bay for a few hours before a diver guided it back to the ocean.

The beast was about 12 feet long (4 meters), but adults can be 30 to 40 feet long. Experts claim that it was most likely a juvenile due to its size.
