This is the oldest mall in America. It was built in 1828, and it's in Rhode Island. The mall has been struggling for a while, so it's undergone an epic transformation.
This is no longer a mall. It's a micro-apartment complex!

This would be a pretty epic place to live!

2

The building, now named Arcade Providence, cost $7 Million to transform. It's home to 48 low cost micro lofts!

These look seriously beautiful

3

The apartments rent for about $550 a month and range from 200 square feet to 800 square feet. All of the apartments have a full bathroom with a shower, a built in bed, but no stove.

Cozy!

4

The apartments are spread across the top two floors of the mall, whilst the bottom floor remains a shopping area with restaurants and a grocery store!

Who needs a stove anyway?

And THIS is what the mall used to look like, back when it was first built! Nice work, everyone! Could YOU live in one of these micro-lofts? Sound off in the comments below, and don't forget to share this with your friends!

Old school!
