Beverly Hills or Brentwood
Beverly Hills or Brentwood
You have money. You have class. You have expensive taste. You live in good school districts. Beverly Hills and Brentwood are where some of LA's wealthiest people reside. You probably are already married and either have kids, or will have them soon. These areas are safe totally safe. You're also probably sipping sparkling water as you take this quiz.

Santa Monica or Venice
Santa Monica or Venice
Santa Monica has the Pier. Venice has the Boardwalk. Both are beautiful and attract a young crowd. The areas are both home to Silicon Beach, a hotbed of young startups like Snapchat and Hulu. Gorgeous beach bungalows coupled with beautiful condos make these neighborhoods some of the priciest in Los Angeles. You probably are very innovative and love to relax on the beach. You wouldn't be caught dead in any areas of Los Angeles not on the ocean. But, to be honest, you probably never actually go in the water.
South Bay (Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach)
South Bay (Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach)
You make fun of people who live in Venice or Santa Monica because you ACTUALLY love the beach. From beach volleyball to surfing, these neighborhoods are filled with active beach lovers. You may use the word "brah" to refer to your "bros" and you're always down to grab a beer no matter which night of the week it is. Bikini bodies are yearlong bodies in this neck of the woods. Beach Volleyball dynamic duo Kerri Walsh Jennings and Misty May-Treanor can still be spotted hitting the sand and volleying here.
Hollywood
Hollywood
For those who visit LA, Hollywood is the place to be. for those who live here, it's usually the place to avoid. This is the heart of Famous Los Angeles. Jimmy Kimmel shoots here. The Walk of Fame is here. Grauman's Chinese Theatre is here. And, this is where the Oscars are held. Lots of young actors move here for the decent rent. But once they achieve some financial success, they're usually quick to move out. But, don't hate too much. Hollywood is bursting with energy and it's the land where dreams are made and broken. You probably have a flair for the drama and aren't afraid to get your hands dirty.
West Hollywood
West Hollywood
Part gay, part wealthy millenial, and 100% fun, West Hollywood (or WeHo to locals) is where it's at. A gorgeous and safe neighborhood, WeHo is wonderfully walkable and is filled with beautiful men and women. There's a rainbow crosswalk. There's the Ivy, perhaps the trendiest lunch spot in LA. Plus, there are too many boutique fitness gyms to count (Barry's Bootcamp and SoulCycle are great celeb-sighting spots). You are beautiful. You love to work out. You hike every Sunday morning after partying hard on Saturday night. You've definitely done a juice cleanse at least once in your life.
Silver Lake or Echo Park
Silver Lake or Echo Park
You're a hipster and you're totally cool with that. These two neighborhoods are all about that urban chic look. Trendy coffee places abound and bars that serve vegan alcohol (is that a thing?) are super popular. You're certainly creative, even if you don't work in a creative field. Plus, you like to be in the urban outdoors, either running around the Silver Lake Reservoir or strolling around the Echo Park Lake. You're close to Downtown, so you go out to super cool loft parties, but probably don't brag about them the next day. Bragging is so mainstream.
Downtown
Downtown
You're a New Yorker who somehow ended up coming to Los Angeles. You live in a super trendy loft and complain about how nobody uses public transportation in LA. You also know the hottest underground clubs and love to take your friends who don't live Downtown. You own a car, but prefer not to drive it. And you never go to the beach. You usually forget there even is a beach in LA.
