Most volunteers and staff members at Crabtree are "transplants" to Chattanooga who found friends and community and the farm became a "home space" to them.

On clear winter days from the fields of Crabtree Farms, you can see the silhouette of Lookout Mountain peeking above the trees.

Half of Crabtree Farm's 22 acres lies outside the fence to provide habitat and to protect the Chattanooga Creek watershed.
