This Boston woman fought for her right to wear a colander during her DMV driver's license photo in order to showcase "Pastafarianism", a parody based religion that was created to showcase religious dogma. Her story only grows more... interesting... from there:

Her first attempt at wearing the colander in her license photo was denied.

After she was denied, Miller filed an administrative appeal and was contacted immediately by RMV. She was then was informed that her initial request would be honored.
