Paul Teutul Sr
Paul Teutul Sr.'s love of riding and fabricating custom motorcycles dates back to the '70s, inspired by such films as Easy Rider and Marlon Brando's quintessential The Wild One. In 1999 he recruited his son Paul Jr. to become the chief fabricator and designer for a new enterprise: Orange County Choppers. The TV show shortly followed.
Paul Teutul Junior
Designer and custom-bike builder Paul Teutul Jr. was just 27 when American Chopper: Jet Bike premiered on Discovery Channel, featuring Paulie and his father, Paul Sr., building a custom chopper for 2002's Laconia Bike Week. Six years of family ups and downs ensued, culminating in 2009 with Senior firing Junior, who started his own business "Paul Jr Designs" after the fact.
Mikey Teutul
When American Chopper: The Series premiered on Discovery Channel in 2003, Mikey Teutul quickly emerged as one of the show's most popular characters. Originally hired to "answer the phones and take out the trash" at Orange County Choppers, Mikey was actually the force that helped keep the peace between his father and brother, lightening the moods of everyone around him with his quick wit. The role of peacemaker and public figure proved too much for Michael, however, and he quit the show in May 2012 in order to "seek some peace of mind and work on my relationship with my dad."
