Which East Coast State Fits Your Preferences?

Florida's the state of just having fun! You can go to the beach, springs, and parks in my home state! The temperature is often warm, but it can get somewhat chilly sometimes.

With the Appalachian mountains in the north and a coast in the south-east, Georgia's got everything. The capital city is Atlanta, a news-lover's heaven!

Home to 2 states, (north and south) Carolina has a lot to offer. The more populous swing state, home to mountains and greens is North Carolina, and the more conservative coastal one is South Carolina!

A swing state bordering Washington D.C., Virginia is good for politically inclined people. If you don't like politics, though, the southern part is great too, boasting a small coast near Virginia Beach and Chesapeake Bay, and mountains to the south-west!

New Jersey, well know for their proximity to New York City, is a whole different state than New York! It is called the Gardening State, and borders two major cities: New York City and Philadelphia!

Home to the notorious NYC, New York is the third most populous state. Yes, it houses the Big Apple, but that's only a fraction of the state's area! Long Island and Upstate New York are very nice places as well!

The most liberal state in the country is also the most populous New England state. It is thought to be made up of mainly smart people, as it is home to many world renown universities such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University.

The most northern state in the continental United States is Maine. It Borders parts of Canada, and has a fairly long coast line. It can be cold sometimes, but it is normal in the summer. Maine is one of the only states that is not winner-take-all in the presidential election.
