This Bride Learned To Walk Again For Her Wedding After An Accident Left Her In A Wheelchair

Jaquie and Andy stayed together through good times and bad, including a traumatic accident that left Jaquie in a wheelchair.

But Jaquie was determined to walk down the aisle to Andy on their wedding day. So, she undertook a year of grueling physical therapy to make it happen and surprise her husband.

With her mom and dad by her side, she walked down the aisle.

Andy was completely overwhelmed.

And they were able to walk back up the aisle together, as well.

And although, she still had to primarily rely on her wheelchair...

They also got to have their first dance completely wheelchair-free.

And their guests were every bit as overcome with emotion as they were...

As a special surprise, Jaquie's parents hired an artist to paint the scene, which truly does justice to their perseverance (and their five pets, who couldn't actually attend the ceremony.)
