In Which Hogwarts Class Would You Actually Excel?

Most Hogwarts students have trouble staying awake in this class, but you would always pay attention because you love learning about history. This is the only class without a practical section on exams, so instead of having to perform magical charms, you just have to memorize information and write well!

You would love to see double potions on your schedule! Potions is the Hogwarts core class taught by Professors Snape and Slughorn during Harry's time at the school. For potions class, you would read the textbook, listen to the professor's lectures, and practice making potions ranging from Cure for Boils to Felix Felicis. Potion making is an art and a science, and you have the right skills in attention to detail, concentration, logic, math, and chemistry to impress even Snape!

Congratulations! You would excel in Transfiguration, the class containing "some of the most complex and dangerous magic you will learn at Hogwarts," as described by Professor McGonagall. Transfiguration is the art of changing the form and appearance of an object. You would do well in this difficult class because you are responsible, precise, skilled in science, and can concentrate well enough to pronounce the charms correctly. You would learn by practicing the Transfiguration charms, but you would also memorize facts well enough to do well on the written portions of the exams.

You would get an Outstanding on your O.W.L. exam in Care of Magical Creatures, the Hogwarts elective taught by Hagrid! In this outdoors class, you would learn to care for care for creatures ranging from Hippogriffs to Thestrals. You would do well in this class because you are caring, responsible, and adventurous. You would not be afraid of approaching the most unusual creatures to feed them and maybe even let them give you a ride above Hogwarts.
