Mr. Freeze is quite cool.. His main hate for Batman is based upon the belief that Batman was responsible for his wife's accident. His wife was cryogenically frozen after finding out about a fatal disease, and a lab accident resulted in his only being able to survive in subzero temperatures.

Harvey Dent (Two-Face) lost half of his face after an explosion. At first everyone admired him, and was well liked by all. But after seeking revenge on Batman for killing his girlfriend (of which Batman was innocent), he quickly became one of Batman's enemies. "You either die the hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain."
