The original Big Daddy created specifically for the defense of the Little Sisters. Armed with a massive drill and being very mobile compared to others, this is a true force to be reckoned with.

A protector with not only peacekeeping in mind, but repairs. Despite the rivet gun being a tool, it makes for a powerful weapon, combined with proximity mines the Rosie makes for a dangerous and powerful combatant.

Alternatively known as the Slow-Pro, the Rumbler bears a heat seeking missile launcher for long range engagements and can lob mini turrets for suppressive fire. While not the most powerful he remains mobile and very defensive.

The only Protector that isn't actually a Big Daddy, Big Sisters are older Little Sisters that have immense power with plasmids. Combining speed and powers, the Big Sister can devastate opponents. These Protectors also are meant to retrieve girls and Little Sisters for their protection and to produce more ADAM.

The Alpha Series, a deranged and sad creation these "Protectors" are psychotic from being made into a Big Daddy. Only one is known to have properly bonded with their Little Sister, the rest have been extremely aggressive and warped. They also have the ability to harness plasmids, releasing massive area of affect blasts of varying types. These Protectors are fast and deal lots of damage, take care whn engaging.
