Glastonbury
Glastonbury
This year you should be going to Glastonbury at Worthy Farm, for the epic bands and enormous crowds. You're not too bothered by large numbers of people and if dirt has put you off festivals in the past, you can go glamping and have your own shower! You love experiencing new things which is why Glastonbury is perfect as with such a huge variety of acts and activities, you'll never see the whole festival in a week. This year you'll see huge acts including Coldplay, Adele and ELO - so if you haven't got a ticket already, keep an eye out for the resale.
Wildlife
Wildlife
This relatively small festival tucked away in the seaside town of Shoreham is quickly becoming a popular choice in the UK and with its reduced crowds and early finish time it's the perfect festival for you! Running only on the Saturday and Sunday, you won't have to take any time off work and as it finishes at 11 each night, you can head home to a real bed and shower to refresh before the second day. This year the festival is hosting Disclosure, Rudimental and Busta Rhymes, so get your snapbacks at the ready.
Reading
Reading
Reading is the ultimate, grimy festival and as a lover of big crowds, moshing and general mayhem, it's the perfect pick for you. A far throw from the EDM and drum and based themed festivals in the UK, at Reading you'll almost exclusively only see the best in rock and this year the headlining acts include The Red Hot Chilli Peppers and The Eagles Of Death Metal. As someone who travels light and could sleep through an earthquake, you'll have no issue parking your miniature tent in a pool of mud and as far as you're concerned that's the true spirit of a festival.
Secret Garden Party
Secret Garden Party
As someone who is looking for something a bit different, Secret Garden Party could be the perfect festival for your. You love meeting like-minded people and with such a variety of music venues and random hang out spots, you'll have plenty of opportunities to connect with interesting strangers. This year you'll be able to see top acts including Caribou and Primal Scream surrounded by beautiful people in a beautiful place.
