Golf Course Design

So the boss has just nipped out for an hour lunch meeting. What better time to play the role of Robert Trent Jones and craft your own golf holes around the office. Throw down a golf ball, plastic golf hole and whip out a putter, and you're away. Before you know it, there will be a 6-hole tournament going on and a leaderboard forming on the whiteboard behind the final green. Just make sure the scores are wiped before the boss gets back.

20-Putt Challenge

Take out a putting mat and lie it down somewhere where it's nice and quiet. Preferably where nobody is going to walk across your line, and away from the printer as you don't want any interference in the backswing. Step forward and take 20 putts, then record your score on the office whiteboard. Make up your own rules as you go along, such as minus points for finding the bunker, sand or de-greening your ball into the kitchen. Perhaps have monthly tournaments and get the boss to pay for a bottle of champers.

3

Mini Clip Golf

Your boss thinks you're working. You're colleagues think your working. That is until you bang the desk when three jabbing the final green to miss out on the course record. Head to the Mini Clip website where a world of mini golf fun awaits. Just make sure you delete your internet browser history.

4

Rip The Driver

The naughtiest one of the bunch, but the best if you've had a tough day at the office. Lock the door and tee it up with a "soft" practice golf ball. Then let fly with the driver, just like Callaway long drive master William Hinson in the clip above. If you have access to club data, why not make it a game to see who can achieve the greatest clubhead speed and total distance.

5

Target Golf

Your boss can't possibly accuse you for not hitting your targets with this one. Cut up a cardboard box and designate some holes with a points system. Another good one for a leaderboard on the whiteboard.

6

Golf Bowling

Everyone loves a game of bowling, so what better time to add putting into the mix. Set up the pins like a normal game of bowling, but give yourself three putts with regulation sized golf balls. Not only is it pretty fun, but it will improve your accuracy with the putter, especially if you're aiming at just one pin on the final putt. At least that is what you tell your boss when he or she asks what on earth is going on.

7

Crazy Golf

What better way to warm up for the annual family game of mini golf by honing your crazy golf skills around the office. A company called "Putterfingers" offers a range of mini golf equipment that can be setup easily and quickly.

8

Toilet Golf

Probably best to just tell your colleagues you've started smoking.
