What are you having for dinner?

Which celeb would you most like to hang out with?

What can we find you watching?

Pick a band.

Which of these movies would you most like to watch?

Who's your literary idol?

What's your idea of a perfect view?

What's this?

What do you say when something's good?

How's the weather?

London

London

You know how to recognise your fellow Londoner - they’re the one staring at their shoes to avoid eye-contact. But then, you too have braved a rush-hour Tube, so you understand. It’s a long time since eel pie and mash was a thing, but you Londoners still have your quirks - though very rarely do they involve supper with the Queen or a half of bitter down the Queen Vic.

The South

The South

From the South Downs to the Fens and Home Counties, you call the South of England home. You’re a little bit posh, some might say, but then you did grow up in the Garden of England. Anything above Cambridge is considered the North - or so you’re told. You’d definitely never dare to set foot there yourself.

The North

The North

You’re tough and well used to the cold climates of Northern England. People may say ‘it’s grim up north,’ but the moors and the Lake District are pretty easy on the eye - and in any case, northerners are the most friendly people in the world, so it can’t be that bad.

Wales

Wales

You’re Welsh, so everyone assumes your life is just like Gavin and Stacey - and hey, they’re not far wrong. But from the secluded valleys to bustling Cardiff, there’s a lot of natural beauty. And even though nobody can pronounced half of your villages, you wouldn’t want to live anywhere else.

Northern Ireland

Northern Ireland

You're from Northern Ireland! You hail from the remotest bit of the UK, in that it’s inaccessible from the mainland without a plane or large boat. Still, the journey is worth it - there’s nowhere else like Northern Ireland. Oh, and Game of Thrones fans might be interested to learn that some of the series is filmed here, too.

Scotland

Scotland

You’re from Scotland. It’s not all haggis, kilts and bagpipes, though on Burns Day you’re not scared to raise a whiskey to Auld Lang Syne. You’re convinced that Scotland is the best bit of the UK - with all those lochs and mountains, you may be right. After all, Scottish people are hardened by the weather and the rugged terrain, so we’re not about to disagree.

The South West

The South West

Well done, you come from the South West, where scrumpy flows and the UK’s most mysterious landmark resides. Though you’re most famous for the Glastonbury festival, you know there’s far more to do here than sit in a muddy field - there’s also a lot of apples.

The Midlands

The Midlands

You’re from the Midlands. Birmingham has more canals than Venice by the square mile, and Nottingham was the home of the legendary Robin Hood. You already have a strong identity and some very inventive slang, but how often do you get mistaken for a Northerner? Try telling a Londoner that Leicester isn’t parallel with Cumbria, though.
