Fruit Salad

Fruit Salad

Fruit salad is basically an assortment of fruits all thrown into a bowl. You can put all different types of fruit imaginable such as blueberries, bananas, grapes, watermelon, mangoes, pineapple, cherries, and many more. You could also drizzle honey over it to give it an extra sweetness. Is your mouth watering yet? Fruit salad can be made the night before, and then put in the fridge to chill. Pretty much anyone can eat it and love it, no matter how much time you have. Not only is it delicious, but it is super good for you.

Oatmeal

Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a pretty average food, but it is very good for you. It is filled with vitamin B and can lower your cholesterol. It will give you energy for the rest of the day while being easy to make, so oatmeal is a good option for the busy person. After it is cooked, you can add berries, cinnamon, honey, bananas, and granola to give it a yummy kick of taste! Oatmeal will leave you satisfied and refreshed for hours, while still being delicious.

Scrambled Eggs & Toast

Scrambled Eggs & Toast

Scrambled eggs & toast is a super great way to get protein and energy. Not only that, but they pair super well together. You don't need too much time to make it in the morning, and it is simple, but delicious. You can also put hot sauce on it to give it more of a kick. If you really don't like eggs, you can spread peanut butter on toast, which is much easier but will still give you protein. All in all, this is a no brainer dish to make but also very healthy and satisfying.

Omelette

Omelette

If you didn't already know, omelettes are fried eggs with savory fillings. They are really good for a person who wants to try new things or a person who has a lot of time on their hands. The best thing about an omelette is that you can put pretty much anything in it! The one in the picture is mainly filled with grilled lamb and hot sauce, but there are so many different and easier combinations. You could put all different sorts of cheeses, kale, potato, bacon, and so on. So basically, not only can you customize it, but it will fill you up for hours! Omelettes are awesome.

Cereal

Cereal

Yes, cereal does sound plain, but who says it can't make for a perfect breakfast? It is good for the person who does not have a lot of time in the morning. Instead of eating a sugary cereal, you could have a healthy cereal (which can taste just as good!). On that cereal, you can put berries, nuts, granola, fruit, and so much more. It will fill you up and keep you energized for a busy day. It's simple, but awesome.

Sweet Pastries & Muffins

Sweet Pastries & Muffins

Pastries are a buttery, flakey dough with filling that can be found in variations all over the world! Some examples of pastries are pies, baklava, donuts, streusel, samosas, pan dulce, strudel, croissants, etcetera. They can be sweet or savory, but typically a breakfast pastry is sweet. There are endless combinations and fillings, from everywhere to fruit to nuts to custard. They are very challenging to make, some even more than others, and if it is your first time it is unlikely you will succeed in it entirely. That's okay, though! Practice makes perfect. And when you are satisfied with whatever pastry you make, it will be worth it. Nobody can deny loving them!

Churros

Churros

If you didn't already know, churros are a fried dough pastry dipped in hot chocolate or Dulce de Leche. They are mostly eaten for breakfast in Ibero-America (Latin America, most of South America, Spain, & Portugal). Churros are good for the creative person who has the time and the motivation to make them. They might not be the healthiest food, but they are good for when you want to treat yourself. Churros are warm, crispy, and sweet. Not only that, but they go well with chocolate. What's not to love?!

Crepes

Crepes

If you didn't already know, crepes are a very thin French pancake. They are best for an intermediate leveled chef & someone who has the time to make them in the morning. Crepes are different than pancakes because they are much lighter and you can roll them up. They can be filled with basically anything, sweet OR savory. For a typical sweet breakfast crepe, you can fill it with Nutella, preserves, maple syrup, whipped cream, custard, and many more things. It is pretty much the perfect breakfast. What are you waiting for? Go make those crepes!
