The Inception
In 2014 and during Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) production, Kevin Feige, the president of Marvel Studios expressed his desires of enlarging the franchise and that meant that a sequel would hit the cinemas any year. Avengers: Age of Ultron’s success worldwide with a total of $1.405 billion, against a budget of $267.4 million wasn’t considered the real reason for the sequel as Marvel desired to expand Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Once the film hit the cinemas, Feige together confirmed that Anthony Russo and Joe Russo would write the script replacing Joss Whedon.
In January 2017, various stars were confirmed part of the Avengers: Infinity War movie led by Robert Downey Jr. ‘Iron Man’. Coming on-board in the following months were Tom Holland ‘Spider-Man’ and lastly Black Panther in 2018.
Roles & Plot
Avengers: Infinity War captures a gigantic plot, but so far, we are convinced that Thanos (Josh Brolin) would bring havoc on the earth. In the comics, Thanos is portrayed as an alien, born on the Titan-planet. He was born as an extraordinary creature with a behemoth-like appearance and obviously a rare skin. Thanos is super intelligent, sort of an immortal, telepathic, with extra strength and an incomparable resistance to pain. His biography goes ahead to depict that he met death. The bond he shared with her made him yearn and solicit all possible ways to match her and with that, he had to gain more power. Different Infinity Gems were some of the ways that made Thanos more powerful as he attained extraordinary abilities to alter reality for his own good. With these gems, Thanos has destroyed, conquered and subdued many vicinities. Now in Avengers: Infinity War, Thanos is the main target that every superhero must fight against.

Why Does Thanos target the Earth?
The film’s plot illustrates that Thanos will head to the earth in search of various infinity stones in order to come up with an artefact or a gauntlet. In the earlier episodes of the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, it so happens that some infinity stones are depicted. In the Avengers, Thanos was behind Loki’s successful ventures as he got an infinity stone from Thanos. This relationship would at the end aid Thanos conquer the earth, but when Loki crossed to Thor’s side, Thanos became more furious, meaning that even the humans are not safe.
In the Guardians of the Galaxy, Thanos was seen as the puppet master, a villain. With Gamora behind his back, Thanos sent her on various conquests, which included the destruction of Ronan, but Gamora had her own ideologies, which made her turn against Thanos. Gamora’s betrayal wasn’t the last, but many turned away from Thanos including his own daughters and in this upcoming installment, he comes to set things right.
The Infinity Stones
Someone in Guardians Of The Galaxy explains that there are at least 6 infinity stones. These are basically gems that we have seen in various MCU movies such as Guardians Of The Galaxy, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Thor: Ragnarok, and Doctor Strange. At least many of Marvel’s films had a bite of the Infinity Stones, but the question remains to be- how do the Wakandans (Black Panther) fit in?.
Well, with the fact that Black Panther has a reliable army, this might have been the reason for its incorporation with the Avengers: Infinity War. However, Black Panther’s involvement will be clearly illustrated once the movie is released.
