Well, this is the first day this year, so I'll just plan ahead in the future.

I shouldn't have stayed up last night. Now I've slept in and my boss/ teacher will be so mad!

Do the work, it's not really that hard.

Quickly set up a schedule, then get started with a deep breath.

Skip out on the assignments, my life is already too stressful.

Everyone was bound to get it eventually.

Great, now I get to spend the next few weeks sneezing.

At least I didn't get the flu!

Obviously didn't choose your friends well, but that just leave more opportunities for the future.
