Imgur Users Helped Diagnose This Woman And It's Helped In The Most Extraordinary Way Possible

All Chey Adele Rose ever wanted to be was a dancer.

It had been her dream since she was a small child.

But her body had other ideas. When she was 12, she was in a bad biking accident that snapped her arm in half. This would be the first in a litany of injuries.

By the time she was 13 she was 5"10 and dancing multiple hours a day, several days a week. She was on and off of crutches almost constantly due to dislocated hips, broken toes, and sprained ankles.

Things soon went from bad to worse. When she was 16 she was officially bound to a wheelchair, and had to stop dancing. The pain in her hips was so bad, she could barely move.

She was in the wheel chair for a year, had multiple surgeries, and was in near constant pain. BUT; things seemed to improve!

Three years later, Cheyenne was dancing again!

But the happy ending was not to be; Chey soon began to experience pain all over again. So, she put up her story on Imgur including her symptoms. And the Internet read her story, and decided it was time to help.

As of today, and with the help of Imgur users, she finally has her answer. Chey has a genetic disorder called EDS. She still lives in pain, but now at least, she has a name for it. With all of her strength and determination, we have faith that Chey will dance again!
