Would you be comfortable overseeing a student's studies and assisting in their educational success?
Would you be comfortable setting household guidelines and ensuring your new family member follows them, while making sure they feel welcome and respected?
Would you be willing to maintain open communication with the student's local representative to make sure the student's visit remains a positive experience for everyone involved?
Would your family be comfortable with counseling sessions in the event any disciplinary issues arise during the student's stay?
Would you be accepting of differing cultures, and willing to teach the student American traditions while respecting their heritage?
Would you be accepting of the student's religion if it differs from your own and ultimately respect their differences?
