Presenting information across the ages!

There is this old saying. There is nothing under the sun which isn't new. It applies to how we communicate in the contemporary era so much. The means of communication have changed today as compared to the old times. That said, the manner in which we communicate remains the same. From the era of antiquity to the contemporary era, the means of communication which have struck a chord with the audiences all the time has remained the same.

The two biggest and the most successful means of communication across ages have remained visual and sound-based. For those of us whose world revolves around powerpoint, the visual mode of communication is the pertinent one. It was carried out through the means of paintings. In the prehistoric era, it was done on rocks and cave walls. The images existing on the cave walls of Altamira in Spain, rock shelters of Bhimbetka in India, cave walls of Ajanta and Ellora in India, for example, show that it was visual modes of communication which have always been able to drive the point home, whenever we are talking about dispensing information about the target audience.

So, the only difference between then and now is that the messages have changed. While during the pre-historic period the message was about informing people or making them remember about their lifestyles, in the period of antiquity it was about informing people about other aspects of life like religion.

Today though, the messages have changed. Today we want to inform the audience about our products, our vision for our companies, the performance of our companies and so on. In today's era, we do it through powerpoint. But, we forget that if not presented in a visually appealing way we would lose our audience. The reason we remember all the historic paintings which we remember is because they are visually appealing, not just because they are there. Let's face it, nobody likes to look at a presentation which looks disconnected from what the audience can understand or what the audience expects.

Folks at companies like Google, Apple, Tesla, etc understand this aspect. This is why they make their slides so much visually appealing. Make no mistake, the majority of the audience returning from one of these companies presentations would be thinking about the slides used in the presentation, they just would not realize it. The reason is that if the slide was not in harmony with the information being dispensed the presentation would not have been successful. So, slides are the backbone of a presentation.

Good slides are easy on the eye. The contrast of the slide and the font color is nicely balanced to ensure that the audience can easily read what is being shown. Good Slides enables an audience to focus on it. Today, designer slides help us in achieving that.

Designer slides help us in impressing the audience with the visual and aesthetic appeal of our presentation. They help us in delivering our message with ease. Such slides, custom made as per your presentation help you in delivering your messages while keeping it simple.
