If a woman was a housewife, well she had to do about every housework there was need to be done without any help from her partner/spouse. She was expected to cook every single meal and make everyone in the house happy, and like the food.

Since women stayed home all day, their job was to cook and clean. They were expected to clean and organize everything at home all by themselves.Also to make their husbands happy when they come home from work.

They not only have to clean and cook, but they must take care of their kids. Women were expected to always have 2 kids, and they are expected to babysit them and care for them by themselves.

Everything they do should impress their husband, or else he might leave her if she is not working "good enough". She must always keep the house tidy, make food he likes to eat, and do what he tells her to do. On top of that men were always looked of as the leader of the house.

It was unusual for a woman to go to college of work outside of home. The ideal woman stayed at home, had kids and took care of them, and they were also responsible for work to be done in the house.

Yes they are going to stay home babysitting, cleaning and cooking but they should dress professionally wear jewelry, makeup,and they should fix their hair. Just to stay home!
