Service Dogs Can Be Lethally Cute

This is Hailey Ashmore and her service dog, Flynn. Hailey has several conditions, including: epilepsy, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome, and more

She's had Flynn since he was an adorable puppy

And their love for each other grew stronger every day

It's been a long and painful road for Hailey

Luckily, Flynn can sense when Hailey is going to have a seizure before it happens so Hailey has time to find a safe place and get help

Flynn wears a giant stop sign to let people know not to distract him when he's on duty by petting him

One time Flynn got distracted by the petting, and didn't warn Hailey enough in advance about her seizure, leading her to get injured

She woke up with burns on her head

"My service dog is my lifeline. I don't say that to be cute. He helps keep me alive just like life support. If he gets distracted this happens. If he gets distracted I can die. Do not pet service dogs. Do not call to service dogs. Do not taunt service dogs. Do not talk to service dogs. Do not do anything to service dogs. Thank you," Hailey writes

This dynamic duo wants to make sure everyone knows how important service dogs are to keeping people safe. No matter how cute they are, just appreciate from afar!
