What is an Ideal Family
The Ideal family had a two parent household, to go along with at least two children. Gender roles played a major factor in the 50s, the wife was at home full-time, taking care of the children, while the husband pursued a career. Families like these often kept themselves entertained with Televisions.
50s Lifestyle
Divorce was a very uncommon thing in the fifties, if you were to get a divorce, or if you did something no one's done then, people would look at you differently as if you were an alien. Everyone followed the same things that people did before, they would have Identical belongings, the neighborhood was usually suburban and all looked the same.
The Ideal Person
People had a very different sense of style then, Men and women obviously wore separate outfits from one another that followed the same style as everyone else. It was mostly simple, men wore mostly suits, shirts, belts, pants, and shoes. Women wore blouses, dresses, and heels. Teens mostly had the same things their parents did.
