You are the 12-year-old female tribute from District 11 who was selected to participate in the 74th Hunger Games. You are described as being small and easily underestimated by other tributes. You had formed an alliance with Katniss after warning her about a nest of tracker jackers. Despite your size, you were able to jump from tree to tree in the orchards, even on the most slender branches. Your considerable agility and skill at traveling through the tree tops are probably the reason you earned a good score after your private session. You had a sweet nature, loving those close to you, and hated to see them hurt. When in the training area you are shown to be a very cheeky young girl with a sense of humor because you stole Cato's knife. You are also very observant of your surroundings, noticing every piece of information you saw when spying on the Careers. You fully understood the inhumane and brutal nature of the Hunger Games, and refused to sink down to the level of the others. Instead of attacking at the first sight of other tributes, you spied and gathered information that helped you and Katniss form a plan on how to wipe out the Careers. Katniss supplied a bit of emotional support to you, giving you the hope that maybe it wouldn't be all bad. You are very hated by the Careers for outscoring them with an 11 at the private session with the Game makers. You have strong and independent survivalist instincts due to your difficult past and are good at thinking outside the box.
