Which Netflix original series is on your 'to watch' list?
'Delirium'
'Delirium'
'Delirium' should be the next trilogy on your list! 'Delirium' by Lauren Oliver tells the story of Lena, a girl who falls in love while living in a futuristic society where love is seen as a disease. Sounds interesting, right? The book is great for anyone who likes romance with a twist, so be sure to pick up the first one in the series ASAP!
'The Maze Runner'
'The Maze Runner'
'The Maze Runner' should be the next trilogy on your list! James Dasher's 'The Maze Runner' has now become a major motion picture, but we promise it is TOTALLY worth reading the series! The series follow Thomas (who is played by the beautiful, Dylan O'Brian) and the friends he meets when he wakes up trapped in a maze with crazy creatures and obstacles. He also has no idea why he is there. This is a great read, and you can watch the movies right after!
'Divergent'
'Divergent'
'Divergent' should be the next trilogy on your list! Don't stress if you've already seen the movies, because theres plenty to read in the trilogy! Author, Veronica Roth, creates a world where everyone is classified by one word, and remain in that 'faction' for the rest of their lives. As all dystopian novels do, there is a rebellion, but this one is slightly different. We won't spoil it for you, so you better go out and get it!
'The Hunger Games'
'The Hunger Games'
'The Hunger Games' should be the next trilogy on your list! We probably don't need to introduce this one too much, but 'The Hunger Games' by Suzanne Collins is probably the most popular YA trilogy of all time, respectively. All three books make up a total of four movies, and is based in a dystopian society that sacrifices teenagers into the 'Hunger Games' as a remembrance of their past. Read it, enough said!
'The Selection'
'The Selection'
'The Selection' should be the next trilogy on your list! A dystopian princess book? Precisely. 'The Selection' by Kiera Cass takes place in a world full of castes and classes, where the prince is looking for a princess. However our main character, America, is at quite a lower class, so the trilogy (soon to expand) follows her being chosen to potentially be the princess, and her interactions with the other 'selected' girls, the Queen, and certain rebels. This is the perfect mix of girly and sic-fy, so it is a must read!
