A Student Got Stuck Between Buildings And Broke His Ankle Trying To Impress His Date

Early Tuesday morning, firemen had to destroy the wall of a Qdoba in order to free a man who had wedged himself in between two buildings while trying to impress his date.

Grant Birdsong, a 22-year-old student at the University of Pittsbugh, had apparently attempted to jump from the roof of thebuilding housing the Qdoba onto the roof of the building next door, which was significantly shorter.

This was highly disruptive to both Qdoba and the Bruegger's bagels next door. Fortunately, the manager seemed to have a good sense of humor about it.

And while he seems to have gotten nothing for his troubles except a broken ankle and potential criminal charges, the girl he was trying to impress reportedly stayed with him through the entire ordeal, so he still gave two thumbs up as he was being loaded into the ambulance.
