It all started in the New York City.

Shaul Olmert began his career in the Big after earning a Master's in Telecommunications from NYU. The common thread among the roles he held during that period - from VP of Digital at Nickelodeon/MTV Networks, to President of SundaySky - was digital media and creating content that resonated with audiences.

As a connoisseur of all things digital, Shaul naturally followed the worldwide migration to social media.

Over time, he began to notice a recurring theme among the content that was being shared the most on these platforms: a lot of it was coming from a new generation of publishers whom were creating content in formats that were new, different, and exciting.

And from this, Shaul had a revelation.

That's why Shaul teamed up with Tom Pachys in 2012 to launch Playbuzz.
