Shanley Heinsma, who lives in Spokane, Washington, lost her beloved husky, named Shadow, two years ago in a massive snowstorm.

Shanley posted pictures of Shadow to Facebook and other social media sites, hoping to find her lost pup.

But after two years of looking, Shanley had given up hope of ever finding Shadow.

Until one day, last week, Shanley saw a post on Facebook that perfectly described Shadows distinctive markings!

Shanley's forever reunited with her beloved canine companion.

And Shanley wants everyone to know that nothing's really ever lost forever.
