You should be a part of American rock giants Foo Fighters! Dave Grohl and the band have been around since 1994, having formed in Seattle after Nirvana disbanded. The alternative, grunge rockers have had a successful career that spans three decades, notably winning a Grammy for the hilarious music video ‘Learn to Fly’. Crowds will surely flock to see Foo Fighters headline the main stage on the opening night.

The DJ collective met in London and have linked up with acts such as Ella Eyre, Emeli Sande, John Newman and Ed Sheeran. The group has been around since 2010 but it was in 2012 that they really shot to prominence and they’ve enjoyed headline slots at a number of festivals since then. They are headlining the aptly named ‘Other Stage’ on the Friday night.

You would make Florence and her Machines complete. The band have a unique sound that mixes indie pop with art rock and Florence’s baroque vocals are strong enough to illuminate any festival. Despite the notable and unique sounds of F&TM, the band could comfortably stroll down a high street without receiving too much unwanted attention. Florence and the band will play the main Pyramid Stage on the opening Friday night.
