Buying single day passes is OK for those who only care about a single band, but camping passes give a discount on the total cost and let you have a spot to sleep off the partying!

Since you're camping, bring a cooler full of food and a small camp stove. You'll save HUNDREDS of $$ if you do this and don't try to eat at the festival booths the entire time.

Many festivals are during the summer and the sun is BRUTAL! Make sure you have a couple of water bottles and know EXACTLY where your refill stations are! Don't mess around with heat stroke!

The sun is brutal in the festival main areas, where there is little opportunities for shade. Make sure you have sunscreen and aloe to help protect your skin!

Many festivals have several stages with more bands and DJs than a person could POSSIBLY see. Make a plan for your favorites, with plenty of rest breaks when the crappier DJs are playing.

Lets face it, drugs are a fact of life at most festivals. Bring your own to be safe! There is no way to know what has been added to your favors, or what they've been "cut" with.
