Tumbles the puppy was born without front legs.

He's a terrier beagle mix, full of love and curiosity.

2

Taking care of Tumbles was a challenge for his family, so they brought him to Friends Of Shelter Dogs, a rescue organization in Ohio.

Tumbles still acts like any other puppy, despite having no front legs.

3

FOSD set about taking the best care of Tumbles that they could. They put a picture of him online, catching the eyes of designers who wanted to give Tumbles the ability to frolic and play.

Getting fitted for new wheels!

4

Tumbles is going to need a lot of physical therapy, and like any puppy he's still learning, but he seems to be doing well with his new foster family.

Balancing with the new wheels is not easy, but Tumbles is working on it.

5

Tumbles' new family got the wheelchair design 3D printed at the Ohio University Innovation Center, and as you can see, it fits perfectly.

Taking a quick nap after a hard days' roll.

We love you Tumbles.

When I look into your eyes, my bitter angry heart melts just a little, and the torments of this world fade a little. Thank you Tumbles. Thank you.

7

And we have no doubt that one day, with practice, this could be you.
