Owls aren't known to be cuddly creatures, but this Owl wanted to say thank you.

Having a little inter-species head bump.

Gigi is a Great Horned Owl who brought into a Wildlife rescue in Mississippi after being hit by a car. She suffered severe head trauma.

It didn't look good for Gigi, but then Doug Pojeky stepped in. He's known as the bird of prey whisperer, and under his care Gigi made a full recovery.

Her results were astounding!

Now Gigi and Doug are bonded for life. When he took some time off Gigi was lonely without him. And when he returned, she danced with joy.

Time for a quick cuddle.

Gigi trusts Doug completely. And with good reason. Nice work, Doug.
