"Growing up in San Diego, I loved to draw, dance and, above all, I loved to sing, but I was terrified to show anyone my voice. Maybe that’s why The Little Mermaid was my favorite. I’d write songs in secret, record them on garage band and never let them see the light of day. It wasn’t until I was about to graduate college with a degree in Fine Art, that the urge to sing overcame my fear. Almost immediately things started happening and I realized that music was the path I was meant to take. My 12-year-old self would be so excited if she knew she’d end up where I am now."
