It's important to always be listening and striving to improve. I say listening because we never know it all — nor can we find out the answers on our own. Humility is a great asset.

You seem pretty humble, considering you've won everything you can win in your sport. How do you keep that competitive hunger alive?
Paul Rabil
I love what I do. Distinguishing the difference between chasing titles and having fun is critical. You can't have one without the other, and having fun comes first.

Is it true you almost quit lacrosse when you started it? That's crazy!
Paul Rabil
I didn't quit because I signed up for an entire season with my team. I wanted to quit, but I wanted to honor my commitment more. And before I knew it, halfway through the season, I began to like it. Moral of the story? Honor your commitment.
