You should study the school of Alteration! One of the most practical and respected schools of Magicka, mastering Alteration is a good way to earn fame as a mage in Tamriel. This school is one of the most useful overall, and it is far from boring. The ability to walk on water or unlock doors at the touch of a finger provides plenty of opportunity for amusement. Go turn some lead into gold!

You should study the school of Conjuration! Conjuration is a deeply mistrusted school of Magicka. The very nature of it tends to be dark and power hungry. Summoning otherworldly creatures to do one's bidding or binding a Daedric weapon or article of armor to yourself can give the wrong impression. But, of course, you don't really care what others think. You're in this for the power and the secrets that are to be had. If others are too timid to pursue such knowledge, too bad for them. Go summon a Daedra!

You should study the school of Destruction! My, aren't you subtle, casting balls of fire and bolts of lightning at things? You're the reason people don't tread lightly around mages. The ability to rend flesh from bone with the flick of the wrist is a sure way to earn respect around Tamriel. Your talents are coveted by Generals and Emperors alike, and mages who choose the path of war are quite often the most influential, if short-lived, individuals to be found. Go blast something!

You should study the school of Illusion! You've a head for mischief, don't you? At the snap of a finger you can take control of minds, manipulate them with adoration or fear and, of course, turn invisible! Illusionists are capable of great things, despite their proclivity for trouble. Most famously is the case of Jagar Tharn, who imprisoned the Emperor of Tamriel himself and assumed his form to rule the known world for a decade! He was, of course, killed and evil to boot! But you'd never be caught, right? Go trick someone!

You should study the school of Mysticism! Ahh, Mysticism. A noble and ancient art, indeed. It is simultaneously the most varied school and the most difficult to understand. That's why you're so drawn to it though, isn't it? The esoteric nature of this school calls out to your inquisitive nature. Mysticism rarely covers itself in the kind of glory that schools such as Alteration or Destruction enjoy. This is not discouraging to you, of course. You are among the most revered mages in Tamrielic history when you study this most ancient of arts. Go learn something!

You should study the school of Restoration! Restoration is, perhaps, the least respected of the six schools of Magicka. Of course, healers are undoubtedly the least glory-minded of the mages. The selfless attitude of those who pursue the art of restoring body and mind are immeasurably valuable in the world of Tamriel. At a soothing touch or rallying cry, flesh can be brought back from the very edge of death, and wavering spirits uplifted unto bravery. Without mages such as you, the world would be dark, indeed. Go heal something!
