You are a... Heat wave!
You are a... Heat wave!
A long period of excessively hot weather, a Heat Wave is usually accompanied by high humidity. A Heat Wave is measured relative to the usual weather in a specific area, and relative to the normal temperatures of the seasons in these areas. A Heat Wave occurs when the daily max temperature exceeds the average max temperature by 5 °C (41 °F) for more than five days in a row. Heat Waves form when high pressure aloft (from 10,000–25,000 feet) strengthens and remains over a region for several days up to several weeks. This is common in summer (in both Northern and Southern Hemispheres) as the jet stream 'follows the sun'. This shows that Heat Wave personalities have a tendency to be quiet and laid back, but consistent. Heat waves tend to be introverted people, but very kind, caring, and intelligent when you get to know them.
You are a... Electric Storm!
You are a... Electric Storm!
A thunderstorm or other disturbance of the electrical condition of the atmosphere. Additionally an Electric Storm is a type of storm characterized by the presence of lightning and the sound of it hitting the earth is what’s known as thunder. They are usually accompanied by strong winds, heavy rain and sometimes snow, sleet, hail, or, in contrast, no precipitation at all. They result from the rapid upward movement of warm, moist air. As the warm, moist air moves upward, it cools, condenses, and forms clouds that can reach heights of over 20 km (12.45 miles). These personalities have a ton of energy, sometimes a little too much. They are very extroverted, and can sometimes be the class clowns.
You are a... Rain Storm!
You are a... Rain Storm!
A storm with heavy rain, where lightning and thunder can also be present. A rainstorm is not as severe a storm as a Hurricane, but can have winds up to around 60-70 miles per hour. Rainstorms are the most common type of storm, as Rainstorms can occur at any time of the year in nearly any climate. Because rainstorms can form anywhere, rainstorm personalities are people who are all over the place. They fit in anywhere, have great senses of humor, and know how to make people laugh.
You are a... Blizzard!
You are a... Blizzard!
A severe snowstorm with high winds and low visibility. Moreover, a blizzard is a severe snowstorm characterized by strong sustained winds of at least 56 km/h (35 mph) and lasting for a prolonged period of time—typically three hours or more. Basically, lots of snow, with fast winds, are the main characteristics of a blizzard. These personalities are strong and stick up for what they believe in, and can come off as be rude at times because of this. However, they are sometimes hard to get to know, since they are difficult to see through.
You are a... Hurricane!
You are a... Hurricane!
A storm with violent wind and deafening rain. The degree of severity in a Hurricane is much greater than that of a rainstorm. Hurricanes are mostly formed over water, and spin due to the Coriolis effect (see Kaiti and Rohan’s project for more on the Coriolis effect).
In simpler terms, a hurricane is a quickly rotating storm with a low-pressure center, strong winds, and a spiral arrangement of thunderstorms that produce heavy rain. A little bit of everything, hurricane personalities can fit in with most groups of people. They fit best, however, with other hurricane personalities.
