The Seven Stages Of Hulu Show Addiction!

You're friends have been going ON AND ON about this new show ..... You have run out of episodes on your last addiction so IT BEGINS!

EVERYONE seems to be loving this show but you are a couple of episodes in and you're not convinced. Often at this point a friend comes to the rescue and says "You JUST need to get to episode ......." and you've committed this much ... OK why not!

You KNOW you're addicted but you can't stop! You just HAVE to watch the next episode .... no matter that you should be sleeping / working / doing ANYTHING else!

Soon just watching the show isn't enough. You hit social media for all the info on your favorite characters, the actors that play them, you stalk pages, take quizzes, look for spoilers on upcoming seasons ........ NOTHING is enough!

Chances are you are only watching this show because a friend (or friends) suggested it but now EVERYONE needs to be watching it and EVERYTHING is somehow related BACK to the show. You know you have reached this when before you can respond people start saying "Yes we know .... In ........" WOW people can be so touchy!

Whether it is one season (or seven) at some point you are going to run out of episodes. Quite often this does NOT result in the satisfaction or celebration that people expect. How you deal with it is a very personal thing... and that's OK!

People will start to ask what you are going to do now. Well that depends on you. Some people go back and watch all over again ... unable to say goodbye just yet. Some will go back to stage one adding yet another show to their ever growing fandom list. Whatever you choose one thing is certain .... once you are a Hulu addict there is no turning back!
